Join us on Discord
We wander in and out of mainstream social media, but if you just want to hang out and are interested in hearing what our bad joke of the day is, you can join us for a chat on our Discord. Just bring a hot beverage and photo of your favourite dog to join in the conversation!
Friends of IANL
Some people want to join us on the journey; some people want to meet us at the destination.
We’re a people-powered band, if we get to keep making music, it’s because of you. The best thing you can do to support us is share our music – play it for someone who you think might like it, that makes us happy.
We’re not in this for the money – it’s fun to be able to write and record music and send it out in the world. But we do sometimes wish that we could give it more time, while still paying our bills. With that in mind, we’ve launched Friends of IANL.
For $1+ a month, you get to come behind the scenes with us. As an example of what we get up to, we make occasional podcast episodes – the aptly named I Am Not a Podcast – with each issue including three new live recordings of songs, recording updates and our feelings on the topic of the day.
How to join Friends of IANL
Let’s tell you more. You’ll also get access to early versions of songs, lyrics and Kathryn’s blog posts, and we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on our music as it grows.
- You can sign up via Patreon at patreon.com/iamnotlefthanded
- Or via Bandcamp at iamnotlefthanded.bandcamp.com/subscribe
Don’t worry, if you can’t or don’t want to sign up for this, we’ll be releasing all of our finished songs and videos to the world when they’re ready – this is just for people who want to know a little more, get a little more insight and join us on some adventures.
Other People's IANL
Making the music is just the first step. Then, we send it out into the world to see what trouble it can get into. We release our music on a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0). If you’re a podcaster, independent film-maker, anyone who wants to take our songs and build something with them, go for it.
Just drop us a line and let us know what you’re using it for (if it’s puppy-taunting, donkey-teasing or something similar, maybe run it by us first…) Here are some of the marvelous places our music has gone to:
